FAQS

What is the closest boat launch?

Shy Beaver Boat launch is the closest boat launch. From the parking lot, it is about one mile to the launch site. Other nearby launches include: James Creek, Aitch, Weaver Falls, and Tatman Run.

Why choose to park near the lake?

By utilizing the boat and camper (RV) storage, you can save wear and tear on your boat trailer or camper.  We are the proud owners of multiple trailers and we know how much brakes, lights, and wheel bearings cost.  Not to mention the cost of tires, grease, and the electrical issues that seem to plague every trailer owner.  Less wear and tear means more money for that new fishing rod or camper accessory.

What about security?

We live and work on the premises and while we can’t babysit your property 24/7, we will alert you if we notice something isn’t right (like your boat cover is loose or a camper canopy is not secure).  This is a courtesy that you might not get at other storage facilities. Additionally, the lane is privately owned and gated. Tenants (and their associated parties) are permitted to get their boat or camper at any time, but other visitors to the property are by appointment only.

Do you offer prepayment discounts?

Yes, we offer discounts for prepayment of 6 months and sometimes up to 12 months. Contact us to find out current discounts for prepayment.

What payment options do you have?

We accept cash and check. We will either give you a written receipt or a text receipt for cash. We also accept credit card (Visa and Mastercard). Credit card payments have 5% added to cover merchant fees.

What other services do you offer?

We have a self-service firewood stand at the entrance to the lane. Additionally, we supply larger quantities. Call or click the above link for more information. Additionally, we sell rough cut lumber, planed wood, craft project wood, and finished wooden art pieces. From our farm you can get fresh eggs, produce, and honey when in season. Consider making a farm fresh breakfast or getting fresh veggies for grilling over a campfire. It can make for a great camping experience. All links are above and just text 814-505-6426 if you need assistance. (Note: Our phone service is spotty. We try our best to get back to you immediately. If there’s no response, we probably didn’t get your message and kindly try again.)
